Loose Chinese Green Tea
It is widely known that China is a cradle of tea! As the legend has it, tea appeared in China in the year 2,737 BC. The Emperor Chen Nung decided to travel around China in search of healthy herbs. The Emperor would always boil water before drinking it, as he had a very healthy lifestyle. So, one day he felt tired after a long walk, boiled some water for himself and decided to rest under a tree.
A leaf from that tree fell into his glass of water. The Emperor drank it and was greatly impressed by this magnificent drink. That is how tea originated in China. Now Chinese tea, and especially Loose Chinese Green Tea is known all over the world!
And we cannot talk about Loose Chinese Green Tea without mentioning Loose Jasmine Tea! Jasmine flowers have been known in China since the 3rd century AD. However, Loose Jasmine tea appeared much later, during the Qing dynasty in the 17th century.
