The main ingredients of our Chocolate Mint Rooibos Tea are classic red rooibos tea, peppermint and chocolate pieces. Therefore, this tea type has a huge number of assets. The classic rooibos tea give it great health benefits, such as antioxidants (polyphenols) and absence of theine. The Peppermint is responsible for its freshness, and the chocolate pieces give it a gentle sweetness! What a remarkable combination!

Rooibos Tea

Rooibos tea, also known as red bush tea, is actually an infusion rather than a tea. This tea type originates from Western Cape province of South Africa. There are 2 types of Rooibos tea: traditional “red” Rooibos tea, and “Green Rooibos Tea”. The traditional red rooibos tea of tea undergoes oxidation, just like black tea. However, it is completely caffeine-free. Therefore, if you feel like a cup of tea that would be as strong and full-bodied as black tea, but would not like the tea to disrupt your sleep, then you should definitely go for a cup of rooibos tea!

Green Rooibos tea, on the other hand, is more like green tea. It doesn’t undergo oxidation, and is preserved in its natural state.
