Rooibos Tea
Rooibos tea, also known as red bush tea, is actually an infusion rather than a tea. This tea type originates from Western Cape province of South Africa. There are 2 types of Rooibos tea: traditional “red” Rooibos tea, and “Green Rooibos Tea”. The traditional red rooibos tea of tea undergoes oxidation, just like black tea. However, it is completely caffeine-free. Therefore, if you feel like a cup of tea that would be as strong and full-bodied as black tea, but would not like the tea to disrupt your sleep, then you should definitely go for a cup of rooibos tea!
Green Rooibos tea, on the other hand, is more like green tea. It doesn’t undergo oxidation, and is preserved in its natural state.
As mentioned earlier, Our Vanilla Rooibos tea is an oxidised version of Rooibos tea.
Bedford tea offers you a very interesting collection of rooibos tea! And this both in its natural state, and with other elements! If you enjoy Rooibos tea with sweet flavouring, just like our Vanilla Rooibos Tea, why don’t you discover our Caramel Rooibos Tea? It is just as sweet and aromatic as its vanilla peer.
