Pu Erh tea is widely known for its unique taste and wonderful health benefits! Pu Erh Tuocha tea is presented as “cakes”… that will make you lose weight!
Often referred to as a post-fermented tea, Pu Erh Tuocha Tea is named after the town in which it is produced in China’s Yunnan province. This tea is a post-fermented tea. What does it mean? Its production process is slightly different to that of other black tea types.
There is two additional steps in the preparation of Pu Erh Tuocha Tea. After the rolling of leaves this tea type undergoes an additional fermentation (oxidation). Then the tea is pressed into a ball in specially designed iron moulds. That is why our Pu Erh Tuocha Tea is unique. Not only because it is post-fermented, but also because it is one of the rare teas that exists in pressed form.
What is so advantageous about pressed tea? Well, first of all, it is very convenient. For example, if you are travelling and would like to take some good quality tea with you, it is more comfortable to transport it in this way. Secondly, it gives you a precise idea of dosing the amount of tea for a teapot. Therefore, you do not have to measure the number of grams for every teatime. You just put one of the Pu Erh Tuocha Tea pieces into the pot and everything is fine.
Finally, Pu Erh Tuocha Tea looks so original, that it would be a brilliant idea for a present, especially if you know that your friend is a tea addict!
Pu Erh Tuocha Tea has a very original taste. So it is at its best without sugar or milk.
